Yvonne Bevan

My name is Yvonne Bevan.  I live in Wivelsfield Green near Haywards Heath, Sussex  I moved from Crawley 19 years ago with my Husband Stephen and Step son Jack.  I work Part time now for British Airways at Gatwick as a Customer Service Executive, Im in my 22nd Year.

I am a "aholic"..... Yes a Stampaholic....

My first encounter with Stamping was in California when I went to stay with a good friend Colleen, That was over 25 years ago.  Colleen was making Engagement invites for a friend who got engaged whilst on a trip to Paris. She took me to a shop called "Sparkles"   We purchased Card, Ink an Eiffel Tower stamp and another one with Two people on a motor bike.  We stamped the Eiffel Tower onto the card blank and stamped the bike image onto a separate piece of card where I proceeded to cut out 80 images.  Boy! I wish I had kept a card.  When we returned to buy more supplies, Colleen bought me my very first stamp set as a thank you.  It consisted of 5 stamps - Happy Birthday, Congrats, Hello, Thank you & With love, An ink pad and some cards....   That was it I was hooked.

On my next visit I was invited to my very first Stampin' Up! Party - where yes you guessed it, I bought another set of stamps, Ink, Card and some matching embellishments.

You couldn't buy paper craft items in England back then, a few years later they started appearing but with a limited choice and expensive.

I never dreamed that Stampin' up! would come to the UK.

In 2009 Sadly I lost my Husband Stephen to Cancer, I can honestly say he was my best friend and I miss him terribly.

Paper Crafting has been my saviour through those early years and in September 2013 I joined Stampin' Up! as an Independent Demonstrator and have not looked back.  I have made some new amazing friends, a handful of which I now consider to be amongst my closest friends.

Its a great team, we bounce off each other, support and help each other when needed and have a jolly good time especially when we attend Catalogue release events.

Stampin" up! Celebrate 30 Years in Nov 2018 and I will celebrate my 5th Anniversary.

That's me!
